Dear friend:

Camp Gan Israel in Calgary is well known for its program and devoted staff, with our sole interest placed upon giving the best care and attention to every child in camp.

Our camp is not just recreational, but also nurtures a growing awareness of Judaism, while enjoying the best possible summer experience.  Therefore, we cannot afford to exclude any child due to a lack of funds.

The purpose of this letter is double.

First, we invite you to share Camp Gan Israel with family & friends. If you know of someone that can benefit from this program, and needs a special ‘Invitation’ – Please bring it to our attention. We will be happy to accommodate.

Also, we would like you to know, that the fees collected by the parent body cover approximately half of all camp expenses, and we do have many children on scholarship.

We thank all of you who, in the past years, have contributed to the ‘Sponsor 1 Child 1 Week - program’.

We invite you to join us this year in this great Mitzvah of helping our local community children to enjoy a local community Camp. This will simply be appreciated by the "kinderlach" who need your help.  (All donations are tax deductible.)

Camp this year begins Monday, June 30^th.

Sponsorship of one child for one week in:

Day camp Ages 5 – 11 (full day):   $139.00

     Kiddie Kamp Ages 3 & 4 (half day):     $75.00

      Both:                       $214.00
